Who I am

I am the shop keeper for SArmy. All SArmy's profits go to the Give Life Foundation. If you are an artist interested in helping us by donating art to the store thank you very much! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have:

ororo.munroe.aicn@gmail.com = email address

Here are some basic image guidelines:
1. When creating graphics try to reduce as much blank space around the image as possible. Creating extra space around the image may prevent the image from printing at its maximum size.

2. Using a Transparent Background for images is the preferred method.
The color of the garment will show through the transparent areas of your design for the most professional look. If a solid background is used the image is blocky on the merchandise and has a less professional/appealing look.

3. The preferred file type is png format. It needs to be a high quality format or the image will print out grainy.

4. Image sizes for different products. Shrinking an image to fit a smaller piece of merchandise is not an issue as long as the image is in a high quality format.
T-shirts 10" x 10" front and back or 25.4 cm x 25.4 cm
Sticker (Bumper) 10" x 3" or 27.9 cm 7.6 cm
Throw Pillow 11" x 11" or 27.9 cm x 27.9 cm

5. It can not look exactly like Zachary Quinto nor can it have the names Sylar or Zachary Quinto. However, sylarsarmy.com and SARMY may be used.

6. Black shirts can only have images on the front. Back is not an option at this time.

Now a little bit about the SArmy!

Who we are and what we do
For the most part, the SArmy is a group of young men and women who want to make a difference in their world. We are an army of hundreds of people from all walks of life all over the world doing our best to give back to our communities in any way possible. Our interest in helping others has bridged not only the physical barriers of borders and oceans, but cultural and linguistic barriers as well.

Sylar's Army, or the SArmy as we are more collectively known, was started by a handful of fans in honor of the actor Zachary Quinto's character (Sylar) on NBC's hit drama Heroes. What began as a fan group has blossomed into a worldwide phenomenon. Originally intended as a refuge for fans of the infamous fictional serial killer, the SArmy began a working relationship with the Give-Life Foundation.

The Give-Life Foundation (GLF) sponsors
blood, organ, and bone marrow donations for individuals who would otherwise be unable to afford them. We took our inspiration from Zachary Quinto and his support of the GLF to incorporate their work into our mission statement and have since received charitable donations of art from artists Jason Badower, Ryan Odagawa, Paul Cageggi, and Eric DeSantis. Comic, screen and fiction writer Jason Franks recently donated a design. We've also received art from some amazingly talented fans of the show. You can find these designs in our own non-profit one-stop Sylar shop at www.cafepress.com/sylarsarmy. The proceeds from our eBay auctions and store sales go directly to fund the Give-Life Foundation.

We strongly believe that you don't have to be extraordinary to be a hero in this world. Even if you can't afford to donate money, or you are unable physically to donate blood, tissues, or organs, simply passing on the word about how to help can make a big difference. Awareness is the first step in fixing the issues plaguing our world.

Leaders

There are several members who work very hard to keep the SArmy running. Mabes runs our website. SuperChris creates our promotional media. Ashz created and helps maintain our official forum with the rest of our leaders. Sheindie (Ron) is a huge contributor in obtaining useful contacts for the SArmy. Ororo_Munroe runs our cafepress store. The rest of our growing army helps to promote the SArmy and keeps the morale up during charity projects.

We were incredibly pleased to hear that the
Heroeswiki donated $300.00 to the Give-Life Foundation on our behalf.
